Golden retarder is a 237ml (8 oz) professional-grade additive designed to significantly slow the drying time of acrylic paints, facilitating better blending and extended open time for techniques like wet-on-wet. It acts as a retarder, reducing skinning on the palette, and is best used by mixing with acrylic colours in a ratio of up to 15% to avoid weakening the paint film.
