Gamblin Textile Black Relief Ink is an oil-based relief printing ink developed in collaboration between Gamblin and Drive By Press for printing carved blocks onto fabric and T-shirts. Formulated for textile printing applications, it produces a smooth, rich black print that air dries without the need for heat setting.
For best results
Lightly mist the fabric with water before printing.
After inking the block, place it face down onto the fabric and pass it through a press twice.
Prints should be left to air dry only — do not heat set.
Drying time will vary depending on fabric type, ink thickness, humidity, and temperature, typically taking between 3–7 days.
Allow an additional 1–2 weeks curing time before washing.
